In this Black History Month panel, I was in conversation with Lora King (daughter of Rodney King) and Shinese Harlins-Kilgore (cousin of Latasha Harlins). We discussed the power of community storytelling, to commemorate the 30-year anniversary of the 1992 LA uprisings. What a pleasure and a privilege to be in conversation with these fierce protectors of their loved ones’ legacies.
